Diary allows you to organize your diary or journal entries in 4 different views, i.e. Month View, Date View, Tag View or Web Diary View. (Note: In order to access Month View, Date View and Tag View, you have to click at the Entry panel on the left, and flip among these options with the combobox located at the top of the panel)

(Reminder: Geek_happy Keeping your diary entry with Diary is completely private even though you may or may not have set up your Web Diary. Your diary entry will only be visible to other people if you choose to share it via Shared or Public Web Diary, otherwise they will always remain private and safe in your computer.)

Month View or Date View: In this view, all diary entries or journal entries are filtered by the Month/ Date selected on the calendar. Meanwhile, you could also easily identify which are the dates that contain diary entries. Simply click on the desired date/ month on the calendar, the diary entries for the selected date/ month will be listed on the right panel of the main window.

Tag View
: In this view, all diary or journal entries are grouped by the tags. (Note: When writing a diary entry, you may specify relevant tags that you want to associate with the diary entry, for instance, you may tag a particular diary entry that is related to family outing with “family” and “travel”, so later on you may easily locate this diary entry in either “family” or “travel” tag folder)

Simply click on the desired tag folder, and the diary entries for the selected tag will be listed on the right panel of the main window.

Web Diary View: This view is used to organized your shared diary posts on the Web Diary. If you feel like sharing your current feelings and thoughts with other members of our diary lover community, you could easily do so by clicking at the Share button. When you switch to Web Diary View, you will notice that different set of buttons are available to manage shared diary posts as compared to diary entries.
